Liquid Bloom and Poranguí, the dynamic duo known for their immersive journey music, have once again graced us with a masterpiece in the form of "Inner Sanctum (Medicine Buddha Mantra Prayer)." As part of their Kuya Series, which explores unique soundscapes for psychedelic therapy, this track stands out as a potent and soulful expression of sound healing.

The origins of "Inner Sanctum" can be traced back to the “Kuya Sessions: Samadhi” album, where it initially featured an excerpt of the Tibetan medicine buddha mantra sung by Poranguí. Recognizing the potential distraction in its repeated presence during psychedelic therapy sessions, Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) and Poranguí made a difficult decision to reduce its prominence in the original 25 minute track. This left them wanting to create a refined 9-minute version that beautifully showcased the Medicine Buddha Mantra.

Collaborating with the talented David Satori of Beats Antique and Dirtwire, Amani and Poranguí introduce a unique element to the mantra incorporating the haunting and mystical sound of the bowed banjo. The addition creates an ethereal melodic atmosphere, reminiscent of traditional East Indian instruments, providing further depth and texture to the rich sonic landscape.

The layers within "Inner Sanctum" are a testament to Liquid Bloom and Poranguí's commitment to weaving organic elements into their journey music.
